PASSIVE OPTIC SYSTEMS:
w-Lucid™
w-Lucid™ is a high-performance wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) passive optical system that supports coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) and dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) aggregations of up to 40 channels. By take advantage of the special properties of fiber optic cabling, w-Lucid can transmit substantially more information over a single strand of fiber; multiple numbers of signals can be injected onto a single strand of fiber. As a result, w-Lucid increases the bandwidth transported by a single fiber link up to 400 Gb/s but without the cost and complexity of adding new network infrastructure.
There are a wide variety of applications supported by w-Lucid including connecting multiple data centers, overlaying new services onto existing fiber systems and supporting next generation passive optical networks.
w-Lucid's benefits include:

w-Lucid in available in standard 1 RU chassis; each chassis can support both 1-slot and 2-slot wide w-Lucid modules with maximum of 4 1-slot or 2 2-slot modules or 2 1-slot and 1 2-slot modules. The 1-slot module can support up to 8-channel Mux or Demux or 4-channel OADM. The 2-slot can support up to 16-channel Mux or Demux or 8-channel OADM. The CWDM Multiplexing module supports 20 channels and DWDM Multiplexing module supports 40 or more ITU 100GHz channels.

Passive LGX- compatible Chassis:
Wave2Wave's Passive LGX-compatible Chassis is constructed with the highest quality and customization in mind. Wave2Wave offers more flexibility due to its construction based on the customer's specifications. These Passive chassis are perfect for mounting any LGX-compatible passive optical modules. The 1RU, 2RU, and 4RU shelves can be mounted in the standard 19 or 23 inch telecommunications racks. The pull-out shelves on the units make for an easy installation of the modules. In addition, these chassis can have grip handles on the front for ease of installation into the racks. Wave2Wave provides the customer with several different options of customization. The chassis can be constructed with different types of connectors (SC, LC, etc.). Also, Wave2Wave can provide the product with a private label and custom color.

1x2 & 1x4 Y-cable:
Wave2Wave's 1x2 and 1x4 Y-cables are compact and reli¬able devices that feature low back reflections, low insertion loss and high port isolation over a wide range of temperature and wavelengths. These devices allow two different wavelength ranges to be split at equal ratios over a wide bandwidth that delivers exceptional characteristics for all applications needing critical performance. Wave2Wave's Y-cables are designed to be very compact which allows for installation in the back directly, screwed into a cassette, or use mounting holes. Wave2Wave can provide customized designs to meet specialized feature applications such as dual or tri windows. All devices are tested according to industry standards.

1xN and 2xN PLC Splitters:
Wave2Wave Solution Corp. 1XN and 2XN Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) Splitters are specially designed for the passive optical networks (PONs). These wavelength independent splitters offer low insertion loss, low polarization dependent loss (PDL) and excellent uniformity. These splitters are optimized for field applications. They feature low temperature dependence and are highly reliable under extreme environmental conditions. In addition, Wave2Wave Splitters have very high reliability to meet various application requirements. Their compact size makes it easy to use in FTTH, CATV, high density systems, and outside plant equipment.
The 1xN PLC Splitter are available in 4, 8, 16 and 32 chan¬nel configurations, chassis fittings are also available.
The 2xN PLC Splitters are available in 8, 16, and 32 channel configurations. These Splitters offer the customer the option to insert an overlay signal into a passive optical network (PON), e.g. to combine a video overlay signal on the drop fiber to the customer location. This allows carriers to build flexibility into their PON networks, with minimal additional upfront costs.
